Singapore Visitor Visa
Another new facility provided by Immigration & checkpoint authority of Singapore is Singapore E-visa. With the help of this facility, you can get your visa printed from an authorized agent or strategic partner. After the date of issue, it is valid for 90 days. You can stay in Singapore for a maximum of 30 days per entry. This straight away means you are allowed multiple entries with this E-visa. But this feature is limited to citizens of a few countries. These countries are Georgia, India, Somalia, Sudan, Libya, Macao, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Egypt, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Algeria, Armenia, Russia, Tajikistan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Kosovo, Mali, Nigeria, Pakistan, Yemen, Azerbaijan, and Moldova.
Eligibility for Singapore tourist visa For successful allotment of tourist visa, you need to adhere to certain conditions. If all these requirements are met then you are considered eligible for a tourist visa. These requirements are:
- Make sure that your passport is valid. Validity duration must be at least 6 months after you arrive in Singapore.
- You may be asked to present a copy of your ticket and the details of your tour in Singapore.
- The applicant must prepare a covering letter to the Embassy of Singapore or to the General Consulate of Singapore. The letter states the reason for the visit and the dates of arrival and departure from the country.
- In some cases, the applicant may be asked to provide a leave letter from the company where the applicant works. This letter is to be written on the company’s letterhead.
- The applicant must ensure that all the submitted documents are in English. If not, then official translations should be attached.

- In case you have a new passport then ensure that you transfer your valid visa to the new passport. This should be done before you commence your trip to Singapore.
Malaysia Visitor Visa
Any foreign national who wishes to enter Malaysia must acquire the visa in advance. This can be done from any Malaysian Representative Office abroad. - According to the laws of Malaysia, the applicant must not be a prohibited person. If the applicant is classified under Section 8 of the Immigration Act 1959/63, then he will not be allowed to enter Malaysia.
- For entering into Malaysia, the applicant must have a valid passport.
- All the documents provided by the applicant must be valid for at least 6 months.
- Any person visiting Malaysia must complete the Arrival/Departure cards on arrival at entry points. This card can be acquired at entry points, travel agencies and at Malaysian Representative Office.
- At the entry point, every visitor must ensure that their visa is endorsed with appropriate pass before entering Malaysia.
- Passes for all the applications must be prepared before entering the country. A pass is a kind of endorsement which states that you are allowed to stay in the country for a fixed duration. Thus before
entering Malaysia, your pass should be attached to your passport. - All the documents that the applicant provides should adhere to the specifications provided by the Malaysian authorities. Any violation of any specification may lead to rejection of your application.
- Sometimes the applicant may be asked to provide a copy of his/her birth certificate. Thus you must always hold a copy of your birth certificate.
- The applicant may also be asked for the details of his visit to Malaysia. Thus you should carry a copy of your hotel reservation with you.
- The applicant’s passport must contain the entry and exit stamp of last visited country (if any).
